Train4Coordinators Project Multiplier Event

On November 16th we were at Leon Štukelj University Sports Centre for our Multiplier event – what an exciting and enriching experience! On this occasion we got the chance to get in touch with many students, who were very interested in our project and aims. The day started with an introduction of the participants and partners, to then continue presenting the Train4Coordinators project’s objectives and explain why this project is so relevant. Before the coffe break we also focused on the Project Results (1,2,4), to then move on to illustrate te online Platform. To end the event a workshop on how to create ideas for upgrade competence with volunteering for successful study and employment was held.

Train4Coordinators Project Multiplier Event

The last Train4Coordinators’ Multiplier Event took place in Centro Educativo Ribamar, Seville on November 23rd. We all gathered together to talk about volunteering and how to coordinate a successful volunteer program, we also talked about the project, the results and we showed the platform and the self-assessment tool.

Around 100 people in person and online (from university students, youth workers, volunteer coordinators to young volunteers) joined the “Recognition of Youth Volunteering Management Conference” organised by Fundación Altum in Seville (Spain) on November 23.
The Final Conference provided valuable professional development and practical insights on recruiting, retaining, and managing youth volunteers at a high standard, as well as how to improve skills as a youth volunteer coordinator. The presentations’ topics included innovative solutions for supporting the recruitment and management of youth volunteers, improving the volunteer journey, maximising volunteer impact, and developing strategies for a sustainable volunteering workforce.
Additionally, the project’s online learning platform and the self-assessment tool were presented and demonstrated to the audience.
Finally, the conference had a guest speaker, Juan Folch, who discussed how to embrace complexity to weave our dreams.

Train4Coordinators Project Multiplier Event

On the 6th of November the Muptiplier event of the project TRAIN4COORDINATORS was held. In the heart of Austria, In Vienna, a vibrant and collaborative initiative converged to explore the dynamic Train4Coordinators project, drawing together an eclectic consortium of young minds and coordinators eager to delve into its innovative framework.

The spotlight of the event shone upon the unveiling of the Train4Coordinators project’s groundbreaking e-Learning Platform, designed explicitly to fortify the skill sets of youth coordinators. Amidst an atmosphere teeming with enthusiasm, participants engaged fervently, igniting a flurry of insightful questions that underscored their deep interest in the initiative.

Understanding the diverse linguistic backgrounds of the attendees, a thoughtful step was taken to provide a post-delivery link to the platform, enabling seamless access via PCs and facilitating translation, acknowledging that many participants weren’t native German speakers.

Marked on the calendar for the 16th of November, the upcoming training session is poised to further enrich their understanding, preparing them for active engagement within the program.

As the session drew to a close, the air buzzed with the exchange of ideas during an engaging Q&A session, culminating in a spirited photo session capturing the essence of collaboration and the strides made toward progress. Expressing their gratitude, participants were notably impressed by the professionalism exhibited through the platform and other unveiled outcomes, marking the event as a transformative milestone in their pursuits.

Train4Coordinators Project Multiplier Event
The Multiplier event in Nicosia, Cyprus took place on September 30th, 2023 at Hub Nicosia.

The event presented the Erasmus+ Train4Coordinators project objectives and results. It then focused on showcasing the projects e-learning platform and a step-by-step guide on how to register and use the platform. A fruitful discussion then followed between the experiences of volunteer managers, volunteers and people interested in exploring the volunteering world guided by the facilitators. A Cypriot director and videographer Doğuş Özokutan then facilitated a workshop on how to create short videos, a powerful tool for raising awareness, engaging a (volunteering) community, and rallying support for a cause or volunteering organisation. The event concluded on a positive note, with enthusiastic participants keen to embrace the creative aspect of marketing their volunteering opportunities through compelling video content and further explore the T4C e-learning platform.
The participants then had the opportunity to network and connect with each other accompanied with some finger food and drinks!

Training for Coordinators: Tools for a successful volunteering team
Train4Coordinators: Εργαλείαγιαμίαεπιτυχημένηεθελοντικήομάδα

The seminar will present the Erasmus+ Train4Coordinators project and its results. The presentation of the Train4Coordinators project will be the trigger for the workshop that will be followed, during which tools for quality management of volunteer projects, experiences and best practices will be exchanged by the invited volunteer organizations. Through the lens of volunteers and volunteer organizations themselves, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about new practices and share their already proven knowledge. New volunteers (with little or no experience) and experienced volunteer coordinators will learn from each other’s experience.

Train4Coordinators Project Presentation during Erasmus Days

On October 12th 2023, the Multiplier Event in Türkiye took place in Istanbul, held by the organization Bilim ve Insan Vakfi. The event had great participation from:
Istanbul University, Istanbul Medeniyet University, Istanbul Topkapı University, Marmara University, 29 May University, Medipol University, Haliç University, Nişantaşı University, Altınbaş University, Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, Fatih Sultan Mehmet University.

The project also attracted great interest from young people of Yıldız Technical University, Ibn-i Haldun University, Mardin Artuklu University, Anadolu University, Turgut Özal University, Sakarya Youth and project club managers of universities and the directors of the Gifted Children of Turkey.
Non-governmental organizations such as the Education Foundation, Roof of Hope Association, Majlis of Istanbul Muslims, participated at executive level.

The event coincided with Erasmus Days 2023, and discussions centered around several key topics, including:
– Erasmus Days 2023
– The significance and importance of verifying the competencies and skills of youth coordinators
– The presentation of the Train4Coordinators project (R1 – R2)
Additionally, the Train4Coordinators e-Learning Platform (R3 – R4) was introduced. Participants registered on it by scanning an especially prepared QR code for access. The event also featured a Question & Answer session, concluding with a group photo.
